50 of the homes are being made available under the government’s ‘rent to buy’ scheme and the remaining 14 homes are for shared ownership. It is hoped the new government scheme will help working people who are struggling to save hefty deposits to get a foot on the property ladder.  Work commenced in April 2017 and the project completed in December 2018.  Blue Ocean Building provided the installation of joists, roof timbers, staircases, first, second and final fix joinery, external doors and kitchen units for all 64 properties.
